State Sen. Lowe Finney's office announced today that he will not be present during the first week of the second legislative session, which begins Jan. 14.
In a letter to the Speaker of the Senate, Finney said that he will accompany his wife, Tiffany, to Seoul, South Korea, where the couple is expected to complete their adoption of a little boy, Paul.
Finney is expected to return to the Senate after the Martin Luther King, Jr., holiday.
