JACKSON TN, 3:15 PM – JMCSS Student Involved in Shooting Incident
This afternoon on the campus of Liberty Technology Magnet High School, a student was shot in the leg while school was being dismissed.
According to information received from the Jackson Police Department, the student’s injuries were not life threatening.
The Jackson Police Department officers have been on the campus and temporarily detained all buses. The suspect left the campus in a car but has already been apprehended and arrested by JPD. Liberty buses have now been released.
JACKSON TN, (January 9, 2014) – Approximately 2:30 Thursday afternoon 911 received a call of a shooting at Liberty Technology Magnet, Ridgecrest Drive.
Officers arrived and found one victim, a 17-year-old, with a single gunshot wound to the thigh.
Investigators determined that a single suspect was responsible. According to witnesses the shooter fled the scene in a vehicle
