JACKSON TN, (January 6, 2014) – Jackson Police were called to Madison County Finanace office, 1981 Hollywood Drive, to investigate an alleged assault that occured between business owner Todd Krasner and Madison County Attorney Steve Maroney. According to witnesses, Maroney said that after the meeting adjurned Krasner shoved Maroney while both were in the bathroom.
Krasner attended a county Legislative Resolutions committee meeting to request the committee consider a resolution that proposed ammendments to the Nuisance statute.
Commissioners had questions about the intent of the resolution. Committee members discussed the issue for over an hour.
Todd Kasner is the owner of the Poise Lounge, aka the UpNorth Club. His business is the subject of a Nuisance petiton brought by the county. The case is to be heard in court February 10th.
The Nuisance petition maintains the businesses operated at the address are "a public nuisance and is detrimental to the welfare and safety of
A. Two (2) unlawful sales of alcohol;
B. Seven (7) suspicious situations, particularly as follows:
Two(2) incidents of fighting;
Two(2) incidents of fighting and shots fire;
Two(2) incidents of shots fired; and
One (1) Bar check with other agencies;
C. One (1) domestic assault;
D. One (1) accidental property damage;
E. Two (2) general assistance;
F. One (1) aggravated assault;
