(December 4, 2013) Jackson, Tenn.- The Jackson Municipal Regional Planning Commission approved a store expansion at their last meeting for 2013.
The Kroger on the corner of University Parkway and North Highland Avenue will be expanding their store onto the vacant lot next to their existing building.
Details were scarce about the planned expansion, though it was revealed that there will also expand their drive-through pharmacy to three lanes as opposed to the current one.
In addition to the pharmacy, the store space itself wil almost double. With that expansion, they will be adding more parking spaces, making a total of 507 parking spaces.
It was announced to the commission that they will begin the building in June of 2014.
