Jackson, Tenn. – After a three-day break for the Southern League All-Star Game, the Generals begin the Second Half of the 2017 season at home with five games against the Jacksonville Jumbo Shrimp Thursday in West Tennessee. The fun kicks off with a Thrifty Thursday, Food Truck Friday and Saturday Fireworks on consecutive nights!
The homestand his headlined by the first of seven Postgame Fireworks Shows in the Second Half! Pirates & Princesses Night features fun for fans of all ages. The series concludes with the team’s last day game at home of the season with Splash Day for the kids!
Thursday, June 22 – Thrifty Thursday – 6:05 pm CT
- What a way to kick off the half! It’s the best deal in West Tennessee! All night on Thursday, fans can get general admission tickets, hot dogs, popcorn, soda, beer, ice cream and access to the Fun Zone for just $2! Reserved seats cost just $6 on Thrifty Thursday!
Friday, June 23 – Food Truck Friday/Hub City Hippos – 6:05 pm CT
- The food trucks are back! Thanks to Leaders Credit Union, the Generals will host a number of local food trucks in the fun zone down the right field line at The Ballpark for fans to enjoy at every Friday home game!
- Hip Hip Hooray! The Generals once again will play as the Hub City Hippos in game two versus Jacksonville, with special jerseys and hats. The game-worn jerseys will be signed and auctioned off at the end of the season with proceeds going to the Boys & Girls Club of Jackson thanks to Tennessee811! Saturday, June 24 – Pirates & Princesses Night – 6:05 pm CT
- Dress up as your favorite character for a night that will be unforgettable! On Pirates & Princesses Night, the Generals will put on a fantastic Postgame Fireworks Show! The festivities are sponsored by our friends at Leaders Credit Union!
- Going along with the night’s theme, the Generals will be giving away a Caribbean Cruise Vacation to a lucky fan! Anyone in attendance 18 or older is eligible to win the prize!
- More free stuff! The first 1,000 fans will take home a t-shirt commemorating the team’s 20thanniversary in Jackson! The West Tenn Diamond Jaxx moved to the Hub City in 1998.
- The Generals will wear special Pirate-themed jerseys, and you can take one home! The game-worn and signed jerseys will be auctioned off online after the game, with proceeds going to Treasure’s Love Bears!
- All fans in attendance will have the opportunity to sample products from Southern League sponsor BC Powder!
Monday, June 26 – Splash Day – 12:05 pm CT
- Cool off from the summer sun with Splash Day! On Monday, we’ll be playing water games throughout the contest. Kids who come with their camps get free admission, and lunch packs are available to purchase for just $6!
