According to the Multiple Listing Service, new homes for sale in Jackson from January 1 to May 31 stood at 38, compared to 52 for the same period in 2016.
New homes sold – 46 from January 1 to May 31, the same number for the same period – January 1 to May 31 – in 2016.
Sales for the month of May is 124 compared to 106 in 2016.
The number of closed sales stands at 459, compared to 451 for the first five months of 2016.
The number of homes on the market, which includes all of Madison County, stands at 352, compared to 452 for the first five months of 2016.
