A new roof is going up at 206 North Royal Street, but construction workers say to their knowledge its the only renovating they know of, at least for the time being.
Officials with the planning department for the City of Jackson said no permits have been issued for any additional renovations for the building.
The facility was once home to Hays Supermarket and Deaton’s Carpet One.
