We are thrilled to announce that Main Street Union City has been awarded a $300,000 Downtown Improvement Grant through the Tennessee Department of Economic and Community Development (TNECD)!

And there’s even more to celebrate! This marks our SECOND $300,000 Downtown Improvement Grant, following our first award in 2023!

Main Street Union City is proud to be one of just 14 communities across Tennessee selected to receive funding this year, with more than $3.9 million awarded statewide.

This investment will allow us to continue preserving the historic charm of downtown Union City, enhancing commercial properties, and supporting the continued growth and revitalization of our downtown district.

But this grant represents more than improvements to buildings. It’s an investment in the heart of our community, the people who believe in its potential, and the future of downtown Union City.

We are incredibly grateful to TNECD, our downtown property owners, local leadership, and community partners whose continued support makes opportunities like this possible.

$300,000. One historic downtown. A bright future ahead
