Ricky Catlett ends a 35-year career in administration, teaching and coaching, today, after announcing he is retiring from the Jackson-Madison County School System.
The Deputy Superintendent of the Jackson-Madison County School System, Dr. Catlett spent the last six years in executive leadership.
A 1987 graduate of South Side High School, he was a longtime TSSAA Board of Control member and former football coach.
He previously served 11 years as principal at North Side High School, West Middle School, and other campuses, earning recognition as Southwest Principal of the Year.
