Brand House Collective closes Kirkland’s Nashville office

The Brand House Collective, Inc. has filed an official WARN Notice with the Tennessee Department of Labor and Workforce Development, notifying the agency of a permanent closure effective July 4, 2026, and September 30, 2026.

The affected location is Kirkland’s office, 5310 Maryland Way, Brentwood, Tennessee, and the announcement follows Kirkland’s April sale to online retailer Bed Bath & Beyond Inc., for approximately $26.8 million. The total number of affected workers is 88. The company notified the Tennessee Department of Labor and Workforce Development’s Dislocated Worker Unit on May 1, 2026.

The employees at the facility are not represented by a collective bargaining agreement and do not have bumping rights. The Northern Middle Local Workforce Development Area rapid response team, employed by Workforce Essentials, has been notified to coordinate services with the employer and affected employees.

The Northern Middle Local Workforce Development Board will be responsible for the oversight of and the continued follow-up of Rapid Response and Dislocated Worker services associated with this event. If you need additional information or have questions, please contact the Dislocated Worker Unit at (615) 253-6355.

Kirkland’s, co-founded by Carl Kirkland and the late Robert Kirkland from Union City, has a 771,120-square-foot distribution center in Jackson, and a retail store in The Columns at 1101 Vann Drive.
