According to reports, when quarterback Ty Simpson, the 13th pick overall by the Los Angeles Rams in the First Round of the National Football League Draft, he will be paid between $24.3 million and $25.41 million on the four-year deal with a fifth-year option.
The figures include a fully guaranteed $14.94 million signing bonus.
Simpson, a native of Martin, played football at Westview High School and the University of Alabama.
During the 2025 season, Simpson, a one-year starter, threw for 3,567 yards and 28 touchdowns.
He completed 64.5% of his passes (7.5 yards per catch) and was intercepted five times.
