Jackson, TN — Gourmet Your Way, a Jackson-based food service and catering company, celebrates 25 years of serving businesses, institutions, and families across West Tennessee. This milestone year will include the launch of a redesigned website, a commemorative anniversary logo, pop-up events at their retail store, and a major announcement later this year.
Founded by Ben and Paige Hays, Gourmet Your Way began as a small, home-based operation in 2001, and quickly grew into a full-time business. Built on offering delicious hearty meals and dependable service, the company steadily expanded to meet the needs of the West Tennessee community.
In 2018, Gourmet Your Way moved into its fully remodeled commercial kitchen at 2078 Hollywood Drive. This upgraded space has enabled the company to expand its offerings over the years, including corporate catering, special events and banquets, K–12 food service, in-flight catering, and grab & go service from its retail space. Recently, the company has introduced additional grab-and-go options and now offers pre-orders for live crawfish, oysters, and other seafood selections as part of its seasonal menu.
Today, the Gourmet Your Way staff serves more than 135,000 people annually across a five-state region, highlighting its deep community connection while maintaining the personal touch of a regional food service partner.
In May of 2025, Gourmet Your Way entered a new era as ownership transitioned from the Hays family to Paola Angel and Casey Burns. The transition represents both a continuation of the company’s 25-year legacy and the beginning of its next stage of growth.

Consideration of a preliminary site plan for Security Bank & Trust, 34 Exeter Road in Thomsen Farms, has been approved by the Jackson Municipal Regional Planning Commission.
The 6,400-square-foot facility will offer 43 parking space and will be constructed on 1.73-acres
The plan was submitted by Security Bank & Trust Company on behalf of M&M Valley Invest LP.
Area for Single-Family Residential homes rezoned by Planning Commission
Consideration of a request to rezone property located at the 200 Block of Cooper Anderson Road to a Single-Family Residential District (RS2) to has been approved by the Jackson Municipal Regional Planning Commission.
The property, submitted by McAlexander Engineering on behalf of WTN Development Partners, consists of approximately 27.56 acres.
Chick-fil-a sets opening date for new restaurant on Emporium Drive
Construction continues and Chick-fil-a is looking at opening in early May, 2026, at 2200 Emporium Drive.
The popular restaurant will open with in an approximate 5,985-square-foot facility that was a former home of Chili’s.
Replacing an existing restaurant at 3 Stonebridge Boulevard, the new Chick-fil-a restaurant will offer 85 parking spaces and three drive-thrus on the 1.726-acre lot.
Besides its Stonebridge Boulevard location, Chick-fil-a is located at 16 Tinker Hill Road in front of the Old Hickory Mall on the southwest corner of North Highland Avenue and Tinker Hill Road, and inside the Jackson-Madison County General Hospital.
Planning Commission approves preliminary site plan for convenience store & strip center
Consideration of a preliminary site plan for a convenience store and strip center, located at 1801 Airways Boulevard at the corner of Fiberglass Road, has been approved by the Jackson Municipal Regional Planning Commission.
The 9,751-square-foot facility will be constructed on a 5.4-acre lot and will consist of 52 parking spaces.
Plans were submitted by Clay Williams & Associates.
