The Lady Wildcats Soccer team finished the 2024 season with a 9–7 overall record and a solid 4–3 mark in Mid-South Conference (MSC) play. Dominant on their home turf, the Lady Cats posted an impressive 7–1 home record with a commanding 32–7 goal differential, clearly owning the pitch in McKenzie.
After a shutout loss on the road to open the season, the Lady Wildcats bounced back impressively, winning six of their next seven matches. Key MSC victories included a 2–1 win over Olivet Nazarene, a 4–2 road win at Thomas, a dominant 6–1 performance at Oakland City, and a 5–0 shutout over Williams Baptist. The first half of the season was exactly the kind of start Head Coach Misty Aird had envisioned.
However, the second half brought new challenges—primarily on the road—where the offense struggled to find the back of the net. Despite those setbacks, the Lady Wildcats remained competitive in nearly every match and showcased a defense that consistently kept games within reach.
The 2024 Lady Wildcats proved to be a determined, well-rounded squad, balancing on-field performance with academic excellence. Their strong home performances, competitive conference play, and flashes of brilliance on the road signal that this is a program on the rise.
With a solid core of returning talent and experienced leadership, Bethel is well-positioned to build on this season and push even deeper into MSC contention in 2025.
