The City of Jackson, TN’s Health and Sanitation Department will hold its eighth Community Clean-up Day (Mattress, Tire, and Furniture Disposal event) on Saturday, November 16, 2024, from 8:00 a.m. – 12:00 p.m. at the Public Works Yard located at 164 Conalco Drive.
This bulk waste drop-off event will help residents better discard large items that are difficult to dispose of elsewhere. The event will allow citizens to drop off items such as tires, mattresses, furniture, bulk items over 50 pounds, and harvest décor.
Event Guidelines:
• Event is free for City of Jackson Residents
• No Commercial Businesses
• 4 Tires per vehicle
• Furniture (including recliners, and couches will be accepted)
• No appliances with Freon or Refrigerant
• No Hazardous Waste
• Harvest Décor (pumpkins, hay bales, etc.)
