731 Day – “There is something for everyone”

Kids of all ages participated in the second annual ‘731 Day,’ Monday, which was July 31 and also the area code.

“It’s just a fun day, and there is something for everyone,” Dan Drogosh said. “It’s pretty cool when the city (Jackson) gets behind an entire day’s worth of activities. It’s not just fun, it’s also educational.”

Drogosh is the media and facilities manager at theCO.

He was assisting in the activities and one of his stops was at the Amphitheater at the Market, where the Jackson Fire Department used a tanker to spray kids prior to a water balloon fight.

A Downtown Bar Crawl followed from 5 p.m. until 10 p.m., and a night of storytelling took place from 7 p.m. to 9 p.m., at the Amphitheater at the Market.
