From the Jackson-Madison County Regional Health Department –

The Jackson-Madison County Regional Health Department received positive test results for seven more confirmed cases of COVID-19.

We now have a total of 54 confirmed cases of COVID-19 in Madison County.

The newest patients include:

 43-year-old female
 54-year-old female
 42-year-old female
 50-year-old male
 58-year-old female
 24-year-old female
 58-year-old female

Our epidemiology staff is still trying to make contact with some of these patients, so
hospitalization status isn’t known at this time.

We are also reaching out to people who had contact with these patients.
