The Jackson-Madison County Regional Health Department received positive test results for 11 more confirmed cases of COVID-19.
We now have a total of 38 confirmed cases of COVID-19 in Madison County.
The newest patients include:
ï‚· 43-year-old male (not hospitalized)
ï‚· 49-year-old male (not hospitalized)
ï‚· 65-year-old female (not hospitalized)
ï‚· 46-year-old female (not hospitalized)
ï‚· 39-year-old male (hospitalized)
ï‚· 42-year-old female (not hospitalized)
ï‚· 72-year-old female (not hospitalized)
ï‚· 45-year-old female (not hospitalized)
ï‚· 63-year-old female (not hospitalized)
ï‚· 24-year-old female (not hospitalized)
ï‚· 63-year-old male (not hospitalized)
The non-hospitalized patients were instructed to self-isolate at home.
Our epidemiology staff is reaching out to people who had contact with the patients.
Drive-Through Testing Update:
As of 4 p.m. today (Sunday, April 5) we have received 5 positive COVID-19 test results from the March 26 drive-through assessment site at the Jackson Fairgrounds.
One of the positive patients is a Chester County resident – 38 people have tested negative – 23 tests are still pending.
