Details are not available, but for the second time in one month, authorities have responsed to gunfire in the Lambuth area.
According to witnesses, Lambuth Boulevard, Westwood Avenue and Campbell Street were the locations, Monday.
On October 4, a single gunshot entered the home of Megan McLaughlin at 339 Division Street.
A .40 caliber shell that entered a window in her son’s bedroom would have been deadly – if he had not gone to bed.
McLaughlin, a registered nurse, said she believed the act was gang related.
Later, the Jackson Police Department filed this report on the shooting at Division Street and Campbell Street.
On October 4th at approximately 9:15 p.m., officers responded to 339 Division Street for a report of property damage from gunfire. Responding officers located damage at 339 Division.
While investigating the scene, officers also located shell casings at the intersection of Campbell and Division.
