2025 City of Jackson Christmas Parade set for Monday, December 1

Jackson, Tenn. – The 2025 City of Jackson, TN Christmas Parade will be held on Monday, December 1, 2025, in Downtown Jackson and will broadcast live on EPlusTV channels 6 and 206HD and online at eplustv6.com.

The parade will begin at 6:30 p.m. with the theme “Superhero Christmas.” The lighting of the Christmas tree will be held prior to the start of the parade at 5:15 p.m. in front of Jackson City Hall located at 101 E. Main Street.

“We’re excited to host our annual Christmas Parade again this year,” said Mayor Scott Conger. This parade is a time to bring our favorite comic book heroes to life while also celebrating the real-live heroes who make a difference every day in our community.”

The grand marshal for the 2025 Christmas Parade will be Jackson-Madison County Schools Superintendent Dr. Marlon King. With over three decades in public education – including roles as a teacher, a principal, and Executive Director within the Tennessee department of Education, Dr. King was named JMCSS Superintendent in July 2020.

“I am truly honored to serve as Grand Marshal of this year’s Christmas Parade. Growing up just down the road in Haywood County, Jackson always felt like the big city to me, and to now share in the holiday spirit while highlighting the students and programs in our Jackson-Madison County Public Schools is truly incredible.”

Registration for individuals, organizations, and floats remains open until November 21. To register, visit http://connect.jacksontn.gov and select the “Parade Float Registration” button.
