Two area high school football teams remain unbeaten, and six teams overall remain in contention for a TSSAA State Title, when the playoffs move into the semifinal round Friday, Nov. 25.

6 – Riverside (11-2) – defeated Lewis County, 33-26

7 – Peabody (10-3) – lost to MASE, 26-24 – season is complete

8 – USJ (10-2) – lost to Friendship Christian, 24-20 – season is complete

9 – Jackson Christian (10-2) – lost to Nashville Christian, 54-20 – season is complete

10 – Lexington (9-4) – lost to Pearl Cohn, 41-24 – season is complete

11 – Union City (10-3) – lost to Huntingdon, 14-3 – season is complete

12 – Milan (9-4) – lost to Haywood, 64-14 – season is complete
