JACKSON, Tenn. — Two local businesses liquor licenses are suspended, according to the Tennessee Alcoholic Beverage Commission.
Coyote Blues and Baudo’s Restaurant each served alcohol to a minor twice within the past three years.
Coyote Blues general manager Barry Nabours described the issue as an isolated incident that unfortunately we’re dealing with right now. Nabours added the business takes full responsibility.
In June the Commission conducted compliance checks and in both cases the Coyote Blues and Baudo’s served alcohol to a minor.
Agent Bond Tubbs with the T.A.B.C said both establishments have records of prior infractions.
This Friday the Jackson Beer Board will meet in special called meeting to consider action. The board could fine the restaurants, or suspend or revoke
their beer licenses.
Both restaurants received a 10-day suspension of their liquor license.
According to agent Tubbs, Coyote Blues’ suspension started Sunday, Aug. 30, and runs through Tuesday, Sept. 8 and Baudo’s suspension will begin Sunday, Sept. 6, through Tuesday, Sept. 15.
