From the Jackson Police Department –
Officers with the Jackson Police Department are investigating a shooting that occurred April 15.
At approximately 11:07 p.m., Saturday, officers responded to a call of shots fired in the 2600 Block of North Highland Avenue.
Upon arrival, officers located two individuals suffering from gunshot wounds.
One individual involved in the shooting was transported by Emergency Medical Services to a local hospital.
The other individual drove to a local hospital by personal vehicle.
Investigators with the Jackson Police Department are not looking for any suspects at this time. This appears to be an isolated incident.
The investigation is ongoing.
