The Madison County Sheriff’s Office responded to a tragic motor vehicle crash on Wednesday, July 12, 2023, at approximately 10:56 a.m., Wednesday.

The incident occurred near the 200 block of Seavers Road and involved two vehicles.

Upon arriving at the scene, deputies discovered that one of the vehicles involved in the crash had a fatality.

Our deepest sympathies go out to the family and loved ones affected by this devastating event. In order to investigate the circumstances surrounding the crash, the Madison County Sheriff’s Office Crash Reconstructionist team promptly responded to the scene.

These highly trained professionals are diligently working to gather evidence and reconstruct the events that led to this tragic incident. The investigation into the crash is still ongoing, and our dedicated team is committed to conducting a thorough and comprehensive examination of all relevant factors.
