One person is dead following a two-vehicle crash on U.S. Highway 45 South at the overpass on State Route 100 in Chester County at approximately 8:57 a.m., Thursday.
The Tennessee Highway Patrol continues an investigation of the accident.
The northbound side of U.S. Highway 45 is open for one-lane of traffic.
Southbound traffic is accessing the inside lane of 45 North to avoid the area of the bridge before returning to the southbound lane.
The Henderson Police Department, Henderson Fire Department, and Chester County Sheriff’s Office is assisting the THP.
The Tennessee Department of Transportation is investigating the bridge.
