From the Jackson Police Department –
Jackson, TN – Officers with the Jackson Police Department responded to a two-vehicle collision (Monday) involving a Jackson-Madison County School System school bus and a box truck at the intersection of Dr. F.E. Wright Drive and Madison Technology Drive at approximately 7:30 a.m.
Upon arrival, the officers found that the occupants of the school bus did not appear to have any life-threatening injuries.
However, as a precautionary measure, they were all taken to a local hospital for medical evaluation by Emergency Medical Service.
The occupant of the second vehicle was airlifted to Regional Medical Center (The Med) in Memphis, TN.
The investigation into the accident is ongoing.
The Jackson Police Department extends prayers to all individuals involved.
