According to organizers, the total amount of funds raised for the 39th annual Circles of Hope Telethon is over $1.5 million.
This year’s telethon, bearing the theme “Planting Seeds Of Hope,” aired Sunday on WBBJ-TV and was simulcast on News Talk 101.5.
The event was moved back to the Carl Perkins Civic Center this year after being held at a temporary location for the past two years.
Donations are still being accepted at carlperkinscenter.org. All proceeds benefit the Exchange Club Carl Perkins Center for the Prevention of Child Abuse.
