Renovations are complete, and ‘How Sweet It Is by Tim’ re-opens at 405 Vann Drive after relocating from 24 Federal Drive.
Recognized as West Tennessee’s only modern bakery offering the best in cakes and cupcakes, business hours are 11 a.m. – 7 p.m., Monday through Saturday.
Owner Tim Hayes relocated to 405 Vann Drive for a 3,000-square-foot facility once home to Marilyn Jackson’s Gifts.
“We established the business in 2014 in Humboldt, and today is our grand opening,” Tim said, “We offer a variety of desserts and treats … all things sweet.
“We have 16 employees, and we are going to be growing.”
Located next door to Roberts Jewelers, Tim has announced his bakery will offer Frothy Monkey coffee – but customers will have to wait a couple of days.
“Unfortunately, we won’t have it today, but it will be (available) Monday,” Tim said, “Our equipment just came in today from Nashville, so they have to come here and install it.”
The new location will also offer more visibility.
“There is ample parking,” Tim said, “We’re looking to be the first business to have Vann Drive blocked off – have lines all the way down Vann Drive.”
